There are photographers—and then there’s Lynn Goldsmith. A true pioneer of rock-and-roll portraiture, her work has graced the covers of Rolling Stone, Time and Life, capturing legends like Springsteen, Marley, Madonna and Debbie Harry not as icons, but as raw, electric forces of culture.
Now, for the first time, Goldsmith brings her storied archive into the built world—curating the façade of The Rider as its official ambassador. Rising at the crossroads of Wynwood, Midtown, and the Design District, The Rider is a building shaped by attitude, music, and style. Goldsmith has handpicked eight of her most iconic photographs to live on the building’s exterior—each one a cultural lightning bolt etched into architecture.
Thanks to Goldsmith, The Rider becomes more than a place to live—it becomes a place to belong.
This is more than art. It’s identity.
Bruce Springsteen,
Holmdel, NJ, 1978
In this shot, Bruce leans coolly across the seat of a classic Corvette C1 in suburban New Jersey. Taken during the peak of his Darkness on the Edge of Town era, the image captures Springsteen’s raw authenticity and blue-collar charisma.
The dusty Americana vibe, the empty road behind him, and his unfiltered gaze feel timeless. It’s a perfect fit for The Rider—evoking freedom, power, and that unmistakable rebel heart we’ve embedded into the building’s identity.

For nearly three decades, Scarlet Page has been one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music photography—capturing artists not just on stage, but in rare, revealing moments of vulnerability, energy, and truth. Her camera doesn’t chase spectacle—it captures essence.
Whether photographing Amy Winehouse in quiet intensity, the Red Hot Chili Peppers in mid-chaos, or Chris Cornell with stoic power, Scarlet’s work strips away noise and ego to reveal the emotional core beneath the persona.
Now, her lens becomes part of The Rider. A hand-selected collection of Scarlet’s most compelling images will live throughout the building’s common areas—framing the space with real moments, raw elegance, and visual soul.

Miami-born director and sculptor Van Alpert injects kinetic energy into The Rider through his bold visual language. His brand film for The Rider captures the project’s pulse—equal parts luxury and rebellion—while his sculptural and video installations bring movement and tension to still spaces.
Van’s career bridges cinema, music, fashion, and public art. He first gained global acclaim directing Post Malone’s breakout “White Iverson,” which garnered over one billion views on YouTube, and recently won the MTV Best Video Director award for his work with Machine Gun Kelly. Van has since premiered major projects at Art Basel and beyond. His feature film Skategoat, produced by Gwyneth Paltrow, and his immersive installations explore untamed freedom, cultural friction, and untold narratives.
At The Rider, his work becomes part of the building’s DNA—art that doesn’t just decorate, but defines. Sculptures live in the lobby, video loops in common areas, and the brand film anchors the project’s spirit. This is not background—it’s a statement. An invitation to live with edge, elegance, and motion.
